How Apple Missed the iPhone 4 Antenna Problem

Do you remember when Gray Powell left the iPhone 4 prototype at a bar?

Remember how the prototype was disguised as an iPhone 3GS in a protective case?

I believe Apple did all their field testing with the protective case on all prototypes.

Just my theory.

Perhaps Apple should rectify the problem by giving everyone a limited edition Gray Powell protective case.

    I was surprised to see that people were still waiting in lines for hours at the Apple Store in Edmonton when I was there. I stopped and asked why they still wanted to grab an iPhone when they could wait an extra generation. No one had a good answer. Lots of them already had iPhones!
