For all those who are excited about owning an iPad as an ebook reader in Canada, don’t expect to be able to buy books from iBooks. Looks like we’re going to have to wait years for iBooks to come to Canada, just like it took years for iTunes music, movies, and TV shows to come to Canada.
However, from what I understand, you should be fine buying epub books from other vendors in Canada, the iPad should be able to support those in one way or another.
