My wife ordered this book for me for Christmas. She can’t remember exactly how she stumbled upon it, she either heard about it on the net, or something she saw while shopping in Duluth. It’s an interview of 40 popular bloggers on the Internet, written by Stephane Grenier.
While not being a comprehensive guide to blogging, it’s more like sitting down in a coffee house and having a conversation with an experienced blogger. They’re rather quick conversations, which makes this book good for the person on the go which not a lot of time to sit down and read a full book.
Learn About What’s Out There
Blog Blazers will give you a plethora of blogs, bloggers, and websites to check out. If you are a person who knows of only 10 good blogs, you will definitely have at least 30 new blogs to read by the time you finish the book.
Learn New Things
While I did not learn about copy writing directly from the book itself, some of the bloggers in the book recommended a blog called Copyblogger. Here I learned some simple ideas like the use of headers, which improves the blogging experience for the majority of readers who scan through posts.
So if you want to improve your blogging experience check out Blogging Blazers. It’s a good read, but I wonder if the title could have been a little more creative.
