How many Canadian politicians are using Twitter? Lets see, so far I’ve found:

I think Michael Ignatieff deserves a special mention as he seems to be the only one of the three who appears to actually be typing Tweets himself. Also, looks like he just created his account yesterday, just a day before announcing he’s running for the Liberal leadership. He has a very crappy background on his Twitter page, but to me that just makes him more authentic. This morning he had 5 followers, now he’s at 52. I hope he keeps typing all his Tweets himself, that would invite me to be more open to him as Liberal leader, and maybe prime minister.
And I would be extremely more open to being supportive of him if he manages to figure out how the @ sign in Twitter works. But I’ll be patient with the guy… he’s old. 
One interesting thing to note is that @jacklayton has the most followers, however, it’s only 1,542 compared to say the 129,796 following @BarackObama (but then again, @JohnMcCain only has 4,000 or so).
