As the Christmas tradition, the newest version of Ruby 1.9 is released. Supposedly this release includes a lot of speed improvements, and possibly default inclusion of gem (which appears to be true from extracting the archive). I haven’t exactly found any documentation on exactly what the performance enhancements are, so I’ll post more info and links once I find out more.
