Megan and I were talking yesterday about how the media influences us. I think I understand that women do have it harder, and here’s why:
The media tells women that this is what guys want from them, whereas the media tells guys, this is what you can get from women.
That’s just an idea I had yesterday. I think the former, what the media tells women, is worse than the message us men receive since it affects their own self image. The latter message, I believe, is not as hard to deal with.
