Life Without Parents

by Brian on 7/17/2005

So far things have been going pretty good while my parents are gone. Dishes and laundry are all done. I bought a bus pass so I could get around. Walked to Intercity yesterday and bused back. Finished reading The Ragamuffin Gospel, and started The Barbarian Way. Reading through Romans and making an outline of what Paul is trying to say. Also, been reading a couple Proverbs on the side.

This evening I sat on the floor in the living room, and both my cat and dog started cuddling me, at the same time. Perth, my dog is doing okay–he’ll love anyone who gives him food. Princess, the cat who thinks she’s a dog, I don’t think is doing as well, she seems a little depressed and not quite herself, and has been talking in a slightly different meow than normal. But she has been eating her food and drinking her water which is good. I guess that’s what happens when you’re one of those new post modern cats that are very into community. Cats who grow up in catteries are different than regular cats.
