I am amazed by the sudden increase in blogs among people I hang out with, which can be noted in my growing list of friends’ blogs. I think Ray is responsible for that. Go Ray.
I guess I should follow the trend and write something about the pool party. I got there a bit unprepared, but not completely. I was in a bit of a last minute rush because just before the party I was working on getting some odd jobs done. I got them all done though, so that was pretty good.
So at the pool party… I have to admit that I’m not really much of a water person. I’m not really afraid of water like some people might be afraid of spiders, but I’m not really that great of a swimmer. It was fun watching people do flips off of decks and chairs into the pool.
It was fun taking pictures of everyone doing crazy things and being artistic, it reminded me of the wrestling rings during Staff-O at Dorion. I got one nice picture of Ray in mid-air.
When people sorta settled down for burgers I sat down with Brandon and we talked about surfing on Lake Superior and girls. I always enjoy chatting with Brandon. Oh ya, we also talked about becoming models in Japan; it pays good money.
After the pool party Suzie invited me and Ben T. to watch a movie at Nikki’s. At first we rented Thirteen. I felt kind of weary renting that movie because it was kind of my choice and if it was awful then it would be like my fault or something. But something funny kind of happened.
When we were at Nikki’s house and she opened the movie to put it in the DVD player, she realized that the wrong movie was in the box, it was Queen of the Damned. So we took it back to Blockbuster, and got a different movie. Maybe God was telling us not to watch that one. In the end we watched Matchstick Men which was pretty good; I recommend it.
This weekend I’ve been very blessed and engulfed in a lot of fellowship, which was awesome. In fact today I hung with Tyler and Ben T. We hung at Ben’s house for a bit and then went to the mall for lunch.
I feel loved.
