This morning…

by Brian on 6/15/2004

This morning as I was starting work I read what I wrote in my last post and it cheered me up quite a bit. It reminded me of something, and also, it reminded me of why I like having a blog and using it. Thanks for the comment Nick.

It seems like this has been happening to me a lot lately, when stuff happens and I spend hours trying to think about why and how it happened. Though these past few times I started doing something that I’ve never done before. I realized that no matter how long and how hard I think about it I’ll never come to a conclusion. And when I realize that I just stop worrying about it and want to do something to have fun. Maybe life is not a problem that we have to figure out.

Not totally sure how much my quote relates but.. what the heck! Awhile back someone gave me a quote for encouragement, and it came to mind as I read your last sentence. So I figured I’d share it with you. The quote is ” I am not a problem to be fixed but a work in progress.” I think that has a lot of truth if you play around with the words a bit and make it say “life is not problems to be fixed but a work in progress.” I think that’s kinda cool because it gives me hope that even if we don’t find a sudden solution to our problems we are still making a difference and working towards a goal.
